were prone to failure and were essential to
operation, even while on AC power. This device
was released at perhaps the start of the darkest
period in Apple‘s history. PC World named the
Macintosh Portable one of the worst tech
products in a 2006 retrospective.

Growing business leads printer to buy second Komori
press in just six months
Andy Patel’s Prodigy Industrial Printers added a Sprint
2-colour, 26-inch press to his recently installed Lithrone 40
to satisfy the company’s almost 15 percent annual growth.
Patel phased out his commercial
work in 1985 in favour of trade
printing. In September 2009,
Prodigy moved forward under the
new management of Najib Jamal
into a new location in Concord.
