physical Graph Expo tradeshow
will be held October 3 to 6,
2010 in Chicago’s McCormick
Place South.
The Crown Fountain is a work of public art
designed by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa.
Featured in Chicago’s Millenium Park, the
tower consists of two 50-foot glass block
towers projecting video images on LED
screens of a collection of faces of Chicago
citizens. In reference to the use of gargoyles
in traditional fountains, Plensa included the
illusion of water flowing from their mouths
to symbolize life.

called Lithographic Relation-
ships and Variables (895*).
The program is built around the
interrelationships among inks,
papers, plates, blankets and
fountain solutions, and presses.
Participants are required to
have one year of experience
with lithography.
